This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality outcomes within a nationally significant early childhood and disability support environment.
As an APS6 level Quality Officer, you will play a key role in quality assurance, quality control, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will provide technical advice on complex matters, mentor team members, analyse data, and support high-quality decision-making processes.
About the Role As an APS6 level Quality Officer, your responsibilities will include: Conducting quality assurance and quality control activities relating to early childhood planning and decision-making processes.
Providing mentoring, coaching and technical guidance to team members to improve quality and consistency.
Supporting the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and quality frameworks.
Analysing trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering data-driven insights.
Interpreting and applying legislation, policy, procedures and operational standards.
Managing escalations and providing effective resolutions to complex matters.
Engaging with internal stakeholders to build capability and improve understanding of quality practices.
Providing detailed technical, policy and operational advice on complex issues.

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Strong experience interpreting and applying legislation, policies, procedures and regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to mentor, coach and support team members to achieve quality outcomes.
Experience providing technical, operational and policy advice on complex matters.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work with a high degree of autonomy.
Highly Regarded Qualifications in allied health, education, disability or a related field.
Experience in early childhood planning and/or supporting children with disabilities.
Previous NDIA planning experience, ideally two years or more.
Experience working in quality assurance, quality control, compliance or continuous improvement functions.
