Base Salary $78,149 per annum + super, plus applicable allowances, overtime and penalty rates, which may increase total annual earnings by $23,500 or more depending on work performed. Additional entitlements and overtime do

Looking for a hands‐on role leading a small crew and making a real impact on essential services?
We are looking for a Wastewater Ganger to join our team, working across the wastewater network to keep it running safely, reliably and efficiently. This is a practical leadership role where you will be on the tools while supervising a crew and coordinating day‐to‐day works.
We're open to candidates looking to step up into a leadership role.
About the role
Lead and support a small crew delivering maintenance and repair works
Plan daily tasks, organise materials and equipment
Carry out and supervise works including pipe repairs, clearing blockages, and manhole maintenance
Operate and maintain pump stations and associated assets
Participate in on‐call and overtime arrangements for emergency works
About you
Experience in civil, construction, plumbing or wastewater work
Ability to lead or step into a leadership role within a crew
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks
MR driver's licence or ability to obtain




Qualifications
Construction Industry White Card ****** QLD)
Confined Space Entry (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to receive Immunisation against Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B provided through Council.
