HOBAN Recruitment is seeking experienced and motivated APS 6 level Investigators / Regulation officers on behalf of a Federal Government client based in Canberra.

About the Role As an APS 6 level Investigator / Regulation Officer, you will manage complex investigations and enquiries while providing expert advice and contributing to the achievement of organisational objectives.
Key responsibilities may include: Managing complex investigations, reviews and case assessments.
Gathering, analysing and evaluating evidence from multiple sources.
Preparing detailed investigation reports, briefs, recommendations and correspondence.
Interpreting and applying legislation, policies and operational procedures.
Conducting interviews and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Identifying risks, trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Providing guidance and support to colleagues on investigation matters.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with government standards and frameworks.
Contributing to strategic initiatives and broader operational outcomes.
Benefits APS 6 salary package of $99,734 - $111,701 plus 15.4% superannuation , dependent on experience.
Non-ongoing assignment from 2 November **** to 2 November **** .

Excellent written communication skills, including report and brief preparation.
Strong stakeholder engagement and interviewing skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
High levels of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.
Sound judgement and decision-making capability in complex situations.
Australian Citizenship.
A current Baseline Security Clearance , or the ability to obtain one.
