At Nexus FTS, we design and manufacture specialised flexible transfer solutions used across critical industrial applications. Due to continued growth, we're seeking a highly skilled
TIG Welder
with experience in
stainless steel corrugated hose and tube welding
to join our Forrestdale team.
This is not your average welding role. We're looking for a tradesperson who takes pride in precision workmanship, thrives on technical challenges, and wants to be part of a business where quality, innovation and craftsmanship matter.

What's on Offer
Full-time opportunity
$50 - $60 per hour + penalties (Experience based)
Monday to Friday
Generally, 7:00am commencement
Approx – 10 hours per day
Stable and ongoing work
Modern Forrestdale workshop
Work with highly specialised products and equipment

90% TIG + 10% MIG work

Core Responsibilities




Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel corrugated hose assemblies.
Complete precision tube welding to engineering specifications.
Interpret technical drawings, weld procedures and work instructions.
Conduct fit-up, fabrication and assembly of components.
Inspect weld quality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Operate fabrication and welding equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean, organised and safety-focused work area.
Collaborate with production teams to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Mandatory Technical Skills
Proven TIG welding experience.
Strong stainless steel and Aluminium welding capability.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds.
Experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication or workshop environment.
Robust commitment to safety and quality standards.
Preferred Experience
Stainless Steel Corrugated Hose Welding experience.
Tube welding experience.
Aluminium welding experience.
Pressure vessel, piping or industrial fabrication experience.
Welding qualifications or trade certification.
Experience working to strict tolerances and quality requirements.
