If you're a people-focused leader who enjoys improving services and creating great customer experiences, this could be your next opportunity..
About the Role
As Team Leader Community Facilities Bookings, you'll lead the team that connects our community with the City's facilities and reserves. You'll make sure bookings are responsive, consistent and easy to navigate, while helping customers find practical solutions that balance their needs with the fair and effective use of community spaces.
This is more than coordinating bookings. You'll have the opportunity to shape how the service works - developing your team, improving systems and processes, using customer and booking insights to guide decisions, and helping our facilities and reserves be used to their full potential.
In this role, you will:
Lead, coach and develop the Community Facilities Bookings team
Oversee facility and reserve bookings, including complex enquiries
Improve booking systems, processes and customer experience
Use booking and customer insights to improve access and facility use
Oversee fees, payments, outstanding accounts and budget monitoring

Build strong relationships across the City and with community stakeholders You'll be the person who helps the team turn a booking enquiry into a positive community experience - while building a service that is ready to grow with Armadale
As the third fastest growing local government in WA, our community is changing. Sure there is an increase in number of people who are lucky enough to live, work or play here. But beyond the numbers, we recognise that how we do things needs to keep pace with community expectations.
We have worked with our community to develop aspirational targets and need your help to make this come true.
About You
You're a confident and practical leader who enjoys helping people, improving services and bringing out the best in a team.
You will bring:
Experience leading or coordinating a customer-focused service and supporting team performance
Experience in community facility bookings, venue hire, recreation, community services or a similar environment
Sound judgement and confidence managing escalated customer matters
A practical improvement mindset, with experience reviewing systems, processes and procedures
Sound financial administration skills and confidence working with fees, payments and outstanding accounts
Strong digital capability and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
You'll also need a current C Class Driver's Licence and a current National Police Certificate, or the ability to obtain one. After-hours and on-call participation is a requirement of the role.
