As our Senior Care Worker, you will be responsible in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and mentoring Home Care and Home Support Workers. Combining direct client care with on-the-job coaching, the role helps build staff capability, promotes best practice, and fosters continuous learning. Working closely with Team Leaders and colleagues, the Senior Care Worker provides day-to-day guidance, encourages teamwork and staff wellbeing, and contributes to positive client outcomes, service quality, and operational effectiveness.

Delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes client independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes
Supporting field staff to translate care plans into practice, providing responsive and respectful services that align with client goals, needs, and preferences, while maintaining continuity of care and high levels of client satisfaction.
Providing mentoring, coaching, and training support to Home Care Workers and Home Support Workers, helping build confidence, capability, and best-practice service delivery.
Acting as a trusted resource by supporting staff with day-to-day challenges, high-risk client needs, safety and compliance requirements, while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive client experience.
Communicating effectively with clients, families, representatives,
and colleagues to support coordinated, responsive, and person-centred service delivery.
Promoting respectful and inclusive communication, report incidents and risks appropriately, and contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and service excellence.
Helping to build a positive team culture based on respect, collaboration, accountability, and shared learning.
Working closely with Team Leaders and key stakeholders to support client and workforce outcomes, drive operational effectiveness, and assist with staff induction and ongoing development.
What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent/higher health-related qualification.
Minimum of 2 years' experience post qualification.
Current Driver's license with reliable vehicle and valid car insurance.
Current First-Aid and CPR certificate or be willing to obtain one.
Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
Demonstrated proficiency in CRM/client management systems and Microsoft Office applications, with an understanding of compliance requirements, continuous improvement, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and change.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to person-centred care, customer service excellence, professionalism, and the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders while supporting operational and team outcomes.
