The Australian Bureau of Meteorology is seeking adventurous and suitably qualified people for ***** months in a remote posting to Antarctica and Macquarie Island, supporting the Bureau's Surface, and Upper Air Observations programs.
The remote staff undertake manual weather observations and weather balloon releases, maintain meteorological instrumentation, ensure seamless service, and support forecasting services, aviation observations and climate research at their stations.
