About the role
Enhance the knowledge, clinical skills and competence of nursing and clinical staff within the Emergency Department.
Assess, develop, implement and evaluate clinical education, professional development and accreditation programs in collaboration with key clinical leaders.
Ensure equitable access to education, learning resources and professional development opportunities for all ED staff.
Promote evidence-based practice through contemporary education, policies, procedures and clinical resources.
Foster a positive culture of learning, skills development and continuous professional improvement to support safe, high-quality patient care.
About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
Relevant clinical or education post-graduate qualification and at least 12 months experience working in the relevant clinical area related to their qualification, or four years post-registration experience including three years' experience in emergency
Certificate IV in workplace training and education or willingness to undertake within the first 12 months of employment
Demonstrated knowledge of cutting-edge educational strategies, tools and approaches including e-learning




Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
