Community Support Workers | Central Coast & Lake Macquarie

HRG is proud to partner with ADSSI Limited as they grow their Support Worker workforce across Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast.
We're recruiting multiple Permanent Part time and Casual Support Workers, with a particular focus on ADSSI's Out of Hospital Care (OHC) services across Lake Macquarie.
If you enjoy working one-to-one with clients, being out in the community and helping people maintain their independence at home, we'd love to hear from you.
About ADSSI
For more than 35 years, ADSSI has supported older Australians and people living with disability to remain safe, independent and connected in their own homes.
You'll have the stability and opportunities of an established not-for-profit organisation, while working within a local team that understands its community and values the contribution of its Support Workers.
What will you be doing? Your day may include:
Personal care and daily living assistance
Domestic assistance and household tasks
Meal preparation and shopping
Transport to appointments
Community access and social support
Medication assistance, where appropriately trained
Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting changes
Supporting clients following discharge from hospital
Helping clients regain confidence and independence at home
About you
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys supporting people and understands the importance of reliability in community care.
You're comfortable working independently, communicate with kindness and respect, build trust quickly and know when something needs to be reported or escalated.




To be considered, you'll need:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability), Aged Care or equivalent
Current NSW Driver Licence
Registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance and a safe driving record
First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
Current or willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check, WWCC and NDIS Worker Check
Ability to meet ADSSI's pre-employment screening and compliance requirements
Health & Immunisation Requirements

, relevant health and immunisation requirements apply.
Successful candidates will be required to provide evidence of relevant immunisations as part of ADSSI's pre-employment process.
