DD Project Consulting (DDP)
is seeking an
Engagement and Communication Consultant
to join our dynamic team of senior professionals. Since ****, DDP has provided strategic advice to government and industry partners across some of Australia's most iconic and complex projects.
We are currently supporting several of Queensland's largest infrastructure programs, with this role specially focused on Sunshine Coast projects.
You will play a key role in building trusted relationships, delivering high-quality engagement outcomes and helping communities and stakeholders stay informed and connected.
What you'll do
Engage with key stakeholders and the general community members to educate, inform and capture project feedback
Collaborate with peers, managers, and clients to identify, develop and deliver strategic engagement and communication initiatives
Report on community interactions
Draft high-quality communications that create meaningful impact
Who we're looking for
You're someone who genuinely values community voices and thrives in complex project environments. You'll bring:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-quality, accurate and community-focused communication materials
Confidence engaging with clients,
stakeholders and members of the community
Ability to navigate challenging conversations with professionalism, empathy and composure
A collaborative, professional and approachable work style
A growth mindset and positive attitude
Strong problem solving and presentation skills
Experience in infrastructure, construction or major projects (highly regarded)
Requirements
3+ years' experience in a relevant field
Relevant tertiary qualifications demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills (e.g. communication, business, management, planning or related discipline)
Engagement Institute Certificate highly regarded (formerly International Association for Public Participation)
Current driver's licence
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
Willingness to undergo a police check

Position details
Location:
Sunshine Coast/Hybrid.
Minimum of 3 days per week with set hours (Wednesdays and Thursdays ******pm and Sunday ******pm).
DDP's office is based in Brisbane CBD.
Remuneration:
Salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
