The RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Protective Services Supervisor to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our ******-robust team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willSupervise, work with and motivate a team of security officer ensuring that professional standards are maintainedFacilitate training for Security Officers in security processesEnsure all shift security incidents are reported to enable reporting of adverse trends to senior managementUndertake the performance appraisal and development of subordinate staffAssist with emergency responses as directedAbout youTo be successful in this position you will require:Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)While not mandatory, possession of a current Security Officer License under the Security Providers Act and/or completion of the following courses/programs would be well regarded: Queensland Health Certificate Level III Aggressive Behaviour Management Course and/or Certificate IV training programs: Security and Risk Management,
