As the PRDE Compliance Manager, you will help to guide change across industry, supporting a wide range of organisations as they seek to align with others and manage their obligations under the Principles of Reciprocity and Data Exchange (PRDE), the industry code for the sharing of comprehensive credit reporting data. In this role, you will be managing the day-to-day operation of the PRDE compliance framework, including providing guidance to signatories/prospective signatories, and, when necessary, supporting action for non-compliance. Alongside a supportive team, you will help to drive improvements under the PRDE, and over time will become one of the experts in the PRDE and credit reporting.
Key responsibilities
Day-to-day management of the PRDE dispute process and attestation, reviewing material provided by signatories, and working with signatories on appropriate outcomes.
Assist in responding to signatory queries relating to the PRDE and how to comply, including meeting with prospective signatories and signatories to share information on their obligations and mapping out solutions as required.
Draft documents to support ongoing PRDE compliance processes or changes, including monthly management dashboards, guidance documents and consultation papers.
Assist in the design and delivery of changes to the PRDE compliance framework, in response to internal/external factors such as legislative change and signatory feedback.
Work pro-actively with the Arca team, particularly the ACRDS manager and Policy team to determine cross over between policy change and the PRDE/ACRDS.
Engage with prospective and existing PRDE signatories. This will sometimes involve presenting an issue to a group of signatories and seeking feedback on the issue.
About you
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of consumer credit, credit reporting law and policy,
and/or policy development in the financial services, privacy or other regulated sectors.
Specific knowledge of credit reporting, the PRDE and Data Standards is not essential (although will be treated favourably).
Experience collating relevant information from a variety of sources; verbal, written, legal material and/or technical standards and converting to a workable process or advice.
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, e.g. relating to business, commerce, law.
Strong interpersonal / relationship building and engagement - comfortable engaging in 1:1 setting as well as in larger meetings, ability to seek feedback and convert feedback into actionable outcomes.
Cooperative and transparent – ability to work well with others, and clearly document and share outcomes.
Organised and able to meet deadlines.
Proficient with the Office suite of products.
