PURPOSE / OBJECTIVES:
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will work closely with the Head of HR in every aspect of HR, by way of efficiently managing the administrative function and responding to queries of employees in a timely manner whilst also business partnering with the team to support the growth and development of the teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Acquisition:
Write and arrange the placement of advertisements for vacant positions internally & externally
Arrange interviews for short listed
Complete first round interviews with hiring manager and recommend second interview for Head of HR
Ensure SAFRAN's commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity is maintained
Coordinate pre-employment medicals and police checks
Conduct reference checks on short listed candidates
Create relevant contract with correct individual details as advised by Head of HR
Prepare selection packs for successful candidates including letter of offer, all employment forms and relevant contract
Ensure new employees are added to relevant training databases.
Conduct all administrative tasks required as part of a new employee induction
Conduct all induction tasks required as a part of current employee commencing
Training:
Develop and manage the annual SEDA training plan for each year
Coordinate and maintain all training databases.
Forecast training requirements within the annual training plan to assist with providing a strong financial and hours forecast to support corporate reporting
Enter all training information as received for annual training plan
Investigate and provide appropriate external training and development courses for employees as requested from all Performance and Development Reviews
Ensure the training effectiveness process is followed in a timely manner and updated accordingly before the end of each month
Support the Head of HR to develop e-learning program content as required by the business.
Employee Management/ Employee Relations.
Conduct employee counselling and disciplinary procedures for SEDA
Review and Update HR Policies and Procedures as directed by the Head of HR
Coach and support line management
Facilitate the performance management process
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
. Tertiary Education or Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience in a HR business partnering role
Demonstrated experience in dealing with day-to-day HR related queries
Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Basic skills in Excel and Access
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance.
