This is a great opportunity to join a small, passionate and driven marketing team supporting Yarra Ranges Regional Museum and the recently launched cultural trail, ngurrak barring. Working closely with the programming, Museum, cultural development and venue activation & service teams, you will help build awareness, drive participation and maximise community engagement with Council's cultural offerings.
You will plan and deliver content and campaigns across two brands, manage websites and CMS platforms, coordinate social media and e-newsletter content, produce marketing collateral, support media activity, deliver tourism marketing initiatives and use analytics and reporting to continuously improve marketing performance.
With new innovative brand strategies and award-winning programming, now is an exciting time to become a driving force in the delivery and execution of these two hero cultural destinations.
This is a part-time temporary hybrid position (Project Work Position) (22.8 hours per week).
This is a Band 5 role with an hourly rate between $***** and $***** per hour, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we're looking for
A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field, and/or relevant experience in arts and cultural marketing, promotion or communications
3+ years of relevant marketing experience
Demonstrated experience with Canva, Meta, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and CMS systems
Demonstrated experience in content creation (social media, paid digital ads and e-newsletters)
A solid understanding and knowledge of web, social media and eDM best practices
A high level of cross-cultural competency,



including a working knowledge of appropriate protocols and legal and moral rights when engaging with First People
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team workplace
The ability to review and interpret data and reporting to inform and improve future campaigns
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple brands and competing priorities
