The Opportunity
As a Bookkeeper within our Private Clients team, you'll manage the end-to-end bookkeeping needs of a diverse portfolio of clients, including privately owned businesses, family groups and high-net-worth individuals.
You'll own the core weekly and monthly bookkeeping cycle for your clients, from payroll and payables through to reconciliations and BAS. You'll work closely with our accountants, Managers and Partners to make sure every client's numbers are accurate, up to date and ready to support the advice we give them. Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Compliance
Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including all core weekly and monthly tasks, for a variety of clients
Complete bank reconciliations accurately and on time
Code expenses correctly and consistently across client files
Prepare BAS for review and lodgement
Payroll & Accounts
Process payroll for a range of clients
Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable reports
Team Support
Assist with ad hoc administration tasks to keep the team and client work running smooth
About You
At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
Strong skills in MYOB and Xero (essential), with experience in other accounting packages a bonus
Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
The ability to work well in a team and to manage your own workload independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
