Role Description
The Physiotherapist will provide high-quality, client-centered physiotherapy services in an on-site setting located in Batemans Bay, NSW. This contract role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering interventions such as manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and functional core training. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring client progress, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with the Principal Physiotherapist to refine treatment approaches. The Physiotherapist will also help educate clients about injury mechanisms,
recovery pathways, and preventive strategies, and may support the integration of Pilates-based and acupuncture techniques where appropriate. Participation in case discussions, contribution to a positive clinic culture, and commitment to continued professional learning are expected.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional board.
Demonstrated skills in musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, and exercise prescription for injury rehabilitation and performance optimization.
Experience or strong interest in functional core training, integrative approaches to care, and collaboration with Pilates and acupuncture modalities.
Ability to educate clients clearly about their conditions, treatment plans, and injury prevention strategies, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuing professional development, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation and confidentiality.
Capacity to work independently and as part of a small team in an on-site clinical setting, with a client-focused, inclusive, and non-discriminatory approach.
Prior experience in private practice or sports/performance settings is advantageous but not essential.
Qualifications to perform acupuncture or dry needling is preferred but not required
Qualifications to teach Reformer Pilates is preferred
