Chief Officer
Possability People is seeking an experienced and values-led Chief Officer to lead our user-led disability charity into its next chapter.
Based in Brighton & Hove, Possability People has worked alongside disabled people for more than 40 years, providing practical support, services and opportunities that help people have choice and control over their lives.
The Chief Officer will provide overall strategic leadership for the organisation, working closely with the Trustee Board and Senior Leadership Team to shape and deliver our next three-year strategy.
The role will focus on strengthening financial resilience and sustainable income, supporting our staff and volunteers, maintaining high-quality and sustainable services, developing partnerships and raising the profile and influence of Possability People across Brighton & Hove, Sussex and beyond.
We are looking for an experienced senior leader with solid strategic, financial and relationship-building skills.



You will be confident leading through change, making difficult decisions, building trust and bringing people with you. As a user-led organisation, we particularly value an understanding of disability, lived experience and the expertise of disabled people.
This is an opportunity to lead an established local charity at an important point in its development, building on its strengths while helping shape what comes next.
Salary: £55,000 per annum | 35 hours per week | Full-time | Brighton & Hove | Flexible and home working available
