We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join our team at Unique Tooling P/L in Wetherill Park, NSW. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for the manufacture, and maintenance of high-quality plastic injection moulding tools, dies, and other precision components for our diverse range of industrial clients. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
What you'll be doing
Build to print and manufacture a variety of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to precise specifications
Operate a range of metalworking equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines to produce parts to exacting tolerances
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop innovative solutions to complex manufacturing challenges
Maintain detailed records and documentation to support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
Formal trade qualifications in toolmaking or a related engineering discipline
Extensive experience (8+ years) in a toolmaking or machinists role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in operating a variety of metalworking equipment, including manual and CNC machines




Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively with stakeholders
