Based in Balgo (Wirrimanu), you'll work closely with community leaders, Traditional Owners and the CEO to manage essential infrastructure, assets and services that support the daily lives of community members across Balgo, Bililuna and Mulan.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated full-time (max-term, 12 months) Operations Manager to lead and coordinate operational, maintenance and asset management activities across the remote communities of Balgo, Bililuna and Mulan.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for ensuring the effective management of community infrastructure, workshops, plant and equipment, fleet operations, fuel supplies, contractor management and maintenance programs. The position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of essential services and maintaining assets that support community wellbeing and organisational operations.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a practical, solutions-focused leader with experience in operations, maintenance, infrastructure or asset management, including the management of staff, contractors, plant, equipment and operational projects. The successful candidate will have strong organisational and reporting skills,
sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, the ability to work collaboratively within a remote Aboriginal community environment, and hold a current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
Salary and Benefits
A salary of $135,000 per annum plus superannuation
Annual Leave of 5 weeks plus 17.5% Annual leave loading
An additional 4 weeks of Special Leave per year (* based on an additional 7 hours worked each week)
$1,500 relocation assistance to support your move to Balgo.
$7,000 per year personal travel allowance to support travel outside the community.
Free accommodation provided, including furnishings and WiFi, along with subsidised electricity, water and internet.
