About CARE Australia
CARE is one of the world's leading humanitarian organisations, working in over 100 countries. In this role, you'll make a real difference by advancing gender equality, contributing to global change, and supporting communities in need.
The Opportunity
As Fundraising Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting and delivering CARE's Individual Giving fundraising program.
Working across appeals, regular giving, donor care, supporter engagement and campaign delivery, you'll help coordinate projects, manage timelines, work with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure our fundraising activities are delivered on time and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, can manage competing priorities and likes being part of a collaborative team that is focused on achieving results.
No two weeks are the same. One day you might be coordinating a donor impact report, the next working with a creative agency on a fundraising campaign, reviewing campaign results or helping deliver supporter communications.
Priorities can shift quickly, particularly when humanitarian emergencies arise, so you'll need to be comfortable adapting while keeping work moving.
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinating and delivering multi-channel fundraising campaigns and supporter communications.
Supporting the delivery of appeals, regular giving and donor engagement activities.
Creating donor reports and impact communications.
Managing campaign timelines, actions and deliverables to keep projects on track.
Working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers including creative, design, telemarketing and fulfilment partners.
Maintaining campaign and donor data and assisting with performance reporting.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, donor experiences and campaign outcomes.
Providing day-to-day coordination support across a broad range of fundraising activities.

Take ownership and follow tasks through to completion.
Are highly organised and enjoy keeping multiple projects moving.
Proactively identify issues and look for solutions.
Are confident building relationships and following up stakeholders.
Adapt quickly when priorities change.
Enjoy learning new things and taking on new challenges.
Bring a positive, can-do attitude and are prepared to pitch in wherever support is needed.
Take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Skills and Experience
You'll bring:
Experience executing and coordinating fundraising, marketing, communications, campaigns, customer engagement or similar activities.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly when proofreading and working with data.
Experience using CRM, project management and collaboration tools to coordinate activity, manage workflows and communicate progress.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
A proactive approach and a genuine willingness to learn.
Experience in fundraising or the not-for-profit sector is beneficial, but not essential.
Why Join CARE Australia?
You'll join a supportive team that values collaboration, initiative, learning and impact.
