The Information Management Office (IMO) is part of the Office of the Clerk Assistant (Procedure). The section supports and enables the work of the House of Representatives, its committees, and the department by providing a range of information services and content to internal and external stakeholders.
About the role
The Videographer reports to the Director, Engagement and Content, and develops and delivers multimedia content that supports the work of the House of Representatives. The role is responsible for producing video and digital content, managing multimedia assets, and ensuring all products align with departmental standards, accessibility requirements and stakeholder needs.
The role is available part time (0.8 FTE) for a period of two years
Duties
1. Produce, film and edit high-quality video content for departmental projects, engagement programs and communications activities.
2. Create multimedia products for websites, social media, exhibitions, educational resources and public engagement initiatives.
3.
Build and maintain photography and video asset library for the department in accordance with record management requirements.
4. Apply departmental branding, accessibility and content standards across all multimedia products.
5. Support photography, event filming, live-streaming activities as required.
6. Undertake other duties and project work consistent with the classification.
Selection criteria
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
1. Demonstrated experience producing high-quality video and multimedia content for digital, educational or public engagement audiences.
2. Proven ability to develop multimedia products across multiple platforms while maintaining robust attention to quality and detail.
3. Experience managing digital photography and video assets, including metadata, storage and records management requirements.
4. Demonstrated understanding of branding, accessibility and content standards, and the ability to apply these consistently across multimedia products.
