About The Role:
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and building strong client relationships? The Fullerton Hotel Sydney is seeking a motivated and commercially focused Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team.
In this role, you will be reporting into the Director of Sales and responsible for driving profitable revenue growth across key market segments through proactive business development, strategic account management, and exceptional client service. You will work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Events, Reservations and Operations to secure new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, and contribute to the hotel's overall commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect, develop and secure new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, government, entertainment, leisure and consortia segments.
Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts through strategic relationship management and regular business reviews.
Negotiate corporate agreements,



preferred partnerships and group contracts within approved guidelines.
Achieve individual revenue, room night and market share targets.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, networking activities and site inspections to generate new business.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records and business opportunity reporting.
Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless client experiences and maximise commercial outcomes.
About You:
You are an energetic and results-oriented hospitality sales professional who thrives on building relationships and achieving commercial targets.
You will have:
Minimum 2 years' hotel sales experience, ideally within an upscale or luxury hotel environment.
Proven success in business development, account management and revenue generation.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Excellent relationship-building abilities and a customer-focused approach.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify revenue opportunities.
Experience using hotel sales systems such as Delphi, Opera, Cvent or Lanyon will be highly regarded.
Valid Full-time Australian work rights and ability to work from office Mon-Fri
