About The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join our team in our Wangara Office.
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering small to medium-sized bids. You will also be the chance to develop project programs and contribute to the end-to-end management of tenders, from initial preparation through to submission.
The key objective of this role is to deliver high-quality estimating services through accurate cost planning, competitive pricing and the timely preparation of tenders. You will play an important role in supporting the business to secure profitable civil engineering projects while ensuring all submissions are delivered to a high standard and within required timeframes.
Other Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
Prepare accurate, competitive and timely estimates for small to medium-sized civil engineering tenders using first-principles methodologies.
Manage the preparation of tender submissions, from initial pricing and bid strategy through to final submission, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Liaise with clients, consultants,



suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, understand project requirements and develop effective tender solutions.
Review tender pricing, risks, opportunities, margins and project performance data to ensure commercially sound and competitive bids.
Lead and collaborate with Quantity Schedulers and internal teams, while building strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
Identify and implement innovative solutions and continuous improvements to estimating, programming, risk management and tendering processes.
To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following
Hold a Bachelor of Engineering.
2-5 years of estimating experience within civil construction industry.
Minimum 2 years of onsite project experience.
Strong understanding of construction programming, scheduling and tender strategy development.
Experience building and maintaining effective client, consultant, supplier and subcontractor relationships.
High proficiency in Expert Estimation.
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights.
