Administration Support Officer (AO3) - Sexual Health & Liver Services - Port Macquarie and Kempsey
Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).
What you'll be doing
Provision of timely and efficient administrative support to the North Coast Population and Public Health Directorate's, Sexual Health and Liver Services including administrative support to Staff Specialists within these fields, and in line with current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You are a highly organised and professional administration specialist with strong experience supporting busy healthcare environments. Your sound knowledge of administrative procedures, combined with your proficiency in a range of NSW Health systems and software, enables you to provide efficient and accurate support across a variety of functions. You are confident using programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, eMR and other database management systems to maintain records, manage correspondence and support service delivery.
You communicate effectively with people at all levels, building positive working relationships through your approachable, courteous and professional manner. Your robust interpersonal and written communication skills allow you to work collaboratively with clinicians, patients and stakeholders while ensuring a high standard of customer service.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, balancing competing priorities and managing workloads to meet deadlines without compromising quality.



Experienced in coordinating outpatient clinics and specialty services, you understand the importance of attention to detail, effective scheduling and seamless multidisciplinary collaboration. You are also skilled in maintaining filing and medical record systems, ensuring information is managed accurately, securely and in accordance with organisational requirements. As a reliable and adaptable team member, you contribute positively to multidisciplinary teams while working independently to achieve service objectives.
