Finance Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Business Performance
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and performance analysis.
Analyse financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key trends and drivers.
Prepare management reporting packs and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand performance outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support business initiatives and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Business Performance
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and performance analysis.
Analyse financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key trends and drivers.
Prepare management reporting packs and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand performance outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support business initiatives and investment decisions.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Maintain and enhance financial models used for forecasting and business planning.
Monitor performance against key financial metrics and KPIs.
Assist in evaluating the financial impact of new products, projects, and strategic initiatives.
Regulatory & Financial Reporting
Support the preparation and review of regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
Assist in ensuring compliance with IFRS and industry reporting standards.
Contribute to the preparation of board papers, management reports, and regulatory submissions.
Provide analytical support for financial statement reviews and reporting deliverables.




Projects & Process Improvement
Partner with finance and business teams on strategic and regulatory projects.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and data quality.
Support system enhancements, reporting initiatives, and process optimisation activities.
Assist with the implementation of new reporting frameworks and financial controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
CA, CPA, or CFA qualification (or working towards completion) highly regarded.
3-7 years' experience in financial analysis, management reporting, FP&A;, or finance business partnering within financial services or banking.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
Experience with reporting and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Axiom
Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
