About the role:
The Brand & Strategic Growth Lead – Biologics & Biosimilars is a senior commercial marketing role responsible for shaping and executing the growth strategy for Arrotex's expanding biologics and biosimilars portfolio.
Working closely with the GM Marketing – Biologics & Biosimilars and senior stakeholders across Strategic Partnerships, AXE Health Services and the broader Arrotex business, you will lead the development of annual and quarterly brand strategies, with accountability across the full marketing mix and divisional P&L.;
You will translate portfolio strategy into high‐impact commercial execution, partnering cross‐functionally and engaging with prescribers, pharmacists, industry KOLs and external partners to drive brand performance, market uptake and sustainable growth.
With a 1–5 year strategic horizon, you will also play a key role in identifying future growth opportunities across biosimilars, reference biologics and specialised pharmaceutical therapies,



including pipeline opportunities and innovative pharmacist and patient engagement initiatives.
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of a strategically key portfolio and help shape the next phase of growth for Arrotex in the biologics and biosimilars market.
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead brand and portfolio strategy across the Biologics & Biosimilars portfolio, developing annual brand plans, positioning, value propositions and go-to-market strategies across prescriber and retail pharmacy channels.
Own commercial performance and P&L; delivery, including budgeting, forecasting, market share, A&P; investment and ongoing optimisation of portfolio performance.
Drive portfolio growth and pipeline opportunities through market analysis, competitive intelligence, customer insights and evaluation of new biologic, biosimilar and specialty medicine opportunities.
This role is accountable for the integrity of the data and reporting that underpin the Biologics and Biosimilars portfolio. It delivers regular performance reporting to external partners and uses commercial analysis to identify growth opportunities, including evaluating potential new products for the portfolio.
Deliver high-impact brand activation, leading integrated marketing campaigns, product launches and multichannel engagement programs in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
Partner with and activate sales teams, translating portfolio strategy into clear cycle priorities, sales initiatives and customer programs that drive adoption, distribution and commercial growth.
Build influential stakeholder partnerships across Prescribers, Pharmacists, KOLs, strategic partners and cross-functional teams to strengthen market engagement and support the successful execution of portfolio strategy.
Key Skills and Requirements
2+ years' pharmaceutical marketing/product management experience, ideally across prescription medicines marketed to GPs, specialists and/or Retail Pharmacy.
Strong understanding of the Australian pharmaceutical landscape, including prescriber dynamics,



product/brand management and relevant Medicines Australia, GBMA and TGA requirements.
Commercial and analytical capability, with experience using market, customer and performance data to develop insights, recommendations and growth strategies.
Analytical skills: Strong analytical, deductive reasoning and problem‐solving skills, and the ability to use data and insights to review product performance and make recommendations.
Technical skills: Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, plus accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven cross‐functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and build strong relationships across sales, marketing, medical and external partners.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, campaigns and projects within tight timeframes.
Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills; previous pharmaceutical sales/detailing experience and tertiary qualifications in Science, Pharmacy, Medicine or Marketing would be highly regarded.
