Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, the
Business Development Manager
is responsible for:
End to End Sales
, from supplier, through to delivery of goods to customer, and
ongoing account management
;
Converting new business development opportunities
in the Retail packaging space into realized sales;
Grow and maintain accounts;
Manage sales budgets inclusive of the agile forecast by customer, by product, in line with company goals and objectives;




Respond to tenders and develop proposals in line with customer needs and JMP objectives;
Organise and participate in industry events, client entertainment, sponsorship and promotional events as required and directed by Company Management;
Monitor and conduct analysis of opposition products and pricing throughout Australasia.
What you will bring to the table:
Ability to develop proposal with end result being a Win:Win scenario for both us and the client;
Have the ability to listen and understand needs of the client and develop long term working relationships;
Experience with packaging solutions and/or working with major retail accounts highly regarded;
Reporting knowledge for monthly analytics and reporting to the Management and Executive;
Demonstrated understanding of the role of channels and portfolio management to deliver sustainable growth
Excellent communication and time management skills;
Sound computer literacy skills, inclusive of MS Office and SAP (preferable, not essential); and
