Business Chamber Queensland is seeking a highly motivated
Program Manager, Sustainability & ecoBiz
to lead the delivery, growth and continuous improvement of our sustainability programs and initiatives, including ecoBiz.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Queensland's peak business organisation and help shape programs that support businesses to improve sustainability outcomes, strengthen performance and prepare for the future. As a newly elevated role, you will combine strategic thinking with hands‐on program delivery, working across government, industry and business stakeholders to deliver innovative and impactful initiatives. You will join an amazing team with a great drive to support businesses on their sustainability journey and topics like carbon management, Climate risk and circular economy.

The opportunity
Reporting to the
Head of Programs
, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across sustainability programs and special projects, ensuring successful delivery of contractual outcomes, stakeholder engagement and program growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the delivery and ongoing evolution of ecoBiz and aligned initiatives.




Managing projects and pilots from concept through to implementation and evaluation.
Building and maintaining solid relationships with government, industry and funding stakeholders.
Preparing and coordinating grant applications, tender submissions, funding proposals and business cases.
Driving innovation, process improvement and program growth opportunities.
Managing reporting, governance, compliance and funding obligations.
Identifying opportunities to diversify funding streams and expand sustainability services.
Representing Business Chamber Queensland at industry forums, workshops and stakeholder events
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience leading complex programs, projects or government‐funded initiatives.
Strong knowledge of sustainability, environmental programs, ESG frameworks or related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience preparing grant applications, tender responses, funding submissions and business cases.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Strong financial, governance, reporting and project management capability.
Outstanding written communication skills and the ability to develop compelling proposals and reports.
A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
