Maintenance Manager – Chemical Manufacturing
Western Sydney (Smithfield Area) | $150,000 Package | Mon–Fri Day Shift
A well-established
chemical manufacturing site in Western Sydney
is seeking an experienced
Maintenance Manager
to lead maintenance operations and drive plant reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a small team of mechanical and electrical trades
Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies
Manage contractors, spare parts, and maintenance budgets
Ensure compliance with
safety, regulatory, and dangerous goods requirements
Maintain CMMS records (
MEX preferred
)




Drive continuous improvement to minimise downtime
About You
Proven experience as a
Maintenance Manager or Senior Maintenance Supervisor
Essential: chemical manufacturing / hazardous environment experience
Strong safety and compliance mindset
Hands-on leadership style
Engineering qualification or equivalent trade experience
CMMS experience (MEX highly regarded)
