We are seeking an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team. This is a hands‐on role responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repairs of our company‐owned trucks, trailers and associated equipment. You will work in a busy transport workplace where vehicle reliability, safety and compliance are critical to our daily operations.
Key responsibilities
Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and general vehicle faults
Conduct inspections, fault finding and repairs as required
Maintain vehicle safety and roadworthiness standards
Complete servicing and repair documentation accurately
Respond to breakdowns and urgent mechanical issues when required
Inspect vehicles and identify potential maintenance issues before they become major faults
Work closely with the Operations and Fleet teams to minimise vehicle downtime
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
About you
Qualified and experienced as a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Experienced working on heavy vehicles,



trucks and trailers
Strong in mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Safety-focused with a strong understanding of heavy vehicle compliance
Reliable, punctual and committed to quality workmanship
Able to manage multiple maintenance priorities in a busy transport environment
Holds a current Australian driver's licence (HR licence is highly desirable)
