Experienced Chef (Monday-Friday) I Full-Time
Blue Gum Café is seeking an experienced Chef to lead the kitchen located within a retirement village in Pennant Hills. This role involves creating healthy, nutritious meals for approximately 20 residents.
Key responsibilities
Plan and prepare weekly lunch and dinner menus (two meal options per service)
Cook fresh, nutritious meals for approximately 20 residents
Manage daily kitchen operations
Monitor food quality and presentation
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Manage stock ordering and inventory control
Ensure dietary requirements are accommodated where required
About you
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Chef
Strong menu planning and food preparation skills
Ability to work independently and manage a small kitchen




Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Flexibility to work occasional weekends when required
Monday to Friday roster (10:30am - 6:30pm)
No split shifts
