About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team, working between both officers in Heatherbrae and Mt Thorley NSW. Reporting into the Directors, this position is responsible for overseeing and managing Total Fire Solutions procurement, supply chain, logistics, warehousing and inventory operations. The role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient business operations through effective supplier management, inventory control, purchasing processes, logistics coordination and strategic supply chain planning.
You will be responsible for leading a team across multiple locations while driving continuous improvement initiatives, cost saving strategies, vendor performance, operational efficiencies and data driven decision making throughout the organisation.




Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives
Manage procurement, inventory, warehousing and logistics operations across the business
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to optimise stock availability and minimise excess stock
Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, distribution and stock control processes
Lead, mentor and develop procurement and warehouse teams across multiple sites
Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, contracts and vendor performance reviews
Oversee RFI, RFP, RFT and RFQ procurement processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction strategies and process automation projects
Analyse supply chain data and prepare reports, recommendations and performance metrics for management
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and risk management requirements
Oversee purchasing activities including purchase orders, supplier invoices and procurement systems
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers to ensure operational excellence and timely delivery outcomes

Experience and Qualifications
Qualifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Manager or in a similar leadership role
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement practices and inventory management
Demonstrated experience in vendor management, supplier negotiations and contract administration
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make data driven decisions
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading and developing high performing teams
Proficiency with procurement software, business systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced setting
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity in all procurement activities
