About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced
VCE Economics and Middle School Commerce
Teacher
to join our dynamic team. As an Economics Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and impactful lessons that inspire our students' passion for the subject and prepare them for academic success.
This is a full-time ongoing position commencing Term 1, ****.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality VCE Economics and middle-school Commerce lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and learning objectives




Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine teaching strategies and resources
Contribute to the broader school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events
Maintain accurate student records and adhere to school policies and procedures
Skills and Experience
VIT Registration is essential along with relevant tertiary qualification in Economics or a related field
Solid experience in teaching VCE Economics and Middle School Commerce
Strong subject matter expertise and a deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices in Economics education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
A collaborative and flexible approach to working within a team environment
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student-centred learning
