The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced
Ultrasound Applications Specialist
to join our growing clinical team and support customers throughout the entire ultrasound journey - from system installation and clinical evaluation through to applications training and ongoing customer support.
This is a highly field-based role requiring extensive travel across Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with
sonographers, radiologists, clinicians, Sales, Service, and Product teams
to deliver high-quality clinical support and help customers achieve the full potential of our ultrasound technology.
The role will have a strong focus on
General Imaging, MSK, Women's Health, and Vascular Ultrasound
, with opportunities to work with advanced imaging technologies and emerging AI-enabled clinical applications.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver in office
clinical applications training
to sonographers, radiologists, and other ultrasound users
Support ultrasound system installations, Go-Live, clinical acceptance, and initial customer onboarding
Provide ongoing applications support and clinical troubleshooting across
General Imaging, MSK, Women's Health, and Vascular
Optimise scanning protocols, image quality,
and examination workflows based on customer requirements
Conduct clinical demonstrations and support customer evaluations as part of pre-sales activities
Work closely with Sales and Service teams to provide a seamless customer experience throughout the sales and implementation process
Support customer workshops, clinical education sessions, conferences, exhibitions, and product events
Collect customer feedback and clinical insights and communicate them to Product and R&D; teams
Support new product introductions, application updates, and clinical feature releases across the ANZ market
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clinical users and customers
Travel extensively across Australia and New Zealand to support customer sites and business activities
About You
Qualified
Sonographer
with relevant AHPRA registration and professional experience in Ultrasound
5–10 years of qualified Ultrasound experience
Strong clinical experience in one or more of the following areas:
General Imaging
Women's Health
Strong understanding of ultrasound scanning techniques, image optimisation, protocols, and clinical workflows
Excellent clinical education, presentation, and customer training skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with sonographers, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer sites and priorities
Comfortable working in a highly mobile, field-based environment with extensive travel across ANZ
Previous experience as an
Ultrasound Applications Specialist, Clinical Applications Specialist, Senior Sonographer, or Clinical Educator
Experience supporting
ultrasound system installations, clinical evaluations, Go-Live, or pre-sales demonstrations
Experience with advanced ultrasound technologies such as
AI-assisted imaging, elastography, automated measurements, or workflow automation
Experience providing clinical training across multiple customer sites or healthcare organisations
Experience working with both public and private healthcare providers
