will work closely with the CFO & finance team to provide both management accounting expertise and commercial support across the organisation.
The opportunity
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of a broad finance remit while partnering closely with
Sales and Operations
to provide meaningful financial insights and support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Own
month-end reporting
, including management accounts, journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and Board reporting support.
Coordinate
forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling
to support business planning and decision-making.
Manage
statutory compliance (BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT), year-end requirements and small weekly & monthly payroll of 9
, liaising with external accountants and auditors as required.
Business Partnering closely with
Sales and Operations
, providing financial insights that support commercial performance and decision-making.
Take ownership of
inventory accounting
and identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and controls.
Own

About you
We're looking for a hands-on
Commercial Accountant
who combines strong technical accounting capability with a commercial mindset and the confidence to engage with stakeholders outside of Finance.
Ideally, you will bring:
3+ years'
commercial accounting experience
Accounting or Commerce degree (
CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
)
Strong management reporting and forecasting capability
Exposure to
inventory accounting and ERP environments
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication skills
What7s on offer?
Up to $120K + super
Archerfield location with ample onsite parking
Start at 7:30am or 8am and finish at 3:30pm or 4pm
1 day WFH after successful completion of probation
