Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced APS5 Investigations and APS6 Senior Regulatory and Compliance Officer to join their busy team on a Non-Ongoing APS contract (Fixed Term Contract) for 1 year. About the role
Check financial to ensure information is correct and complies with legislative requirements
Assess and review claims, utilising compliance assessments in line with legislation
Oversee and coordinate accurate processing of funding and payments
Data and information collection, identifying and investigating non-compliance, and any associated risks
Provide leadership, guidance and support to the team required.
About you
You will ideally have formal qualifications or experience working in accounting, commerce, finance or related industries or fields
You will have previous experience in supporting or leading financial or assurance audits
You will have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and data
You will have strong communication skills - both written and verbal, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
You will be self-motivated, and have strong organisational and time management skills
You will ideally have leadership or staff supervision experience.
You will ideally have a current/active Federal Government Baseline Clearance, or willing to obtain one

Full-time hours Monday to Friday + prospect for hybrid working from home options.

Salary -$99,734 - $111,701 + super
** Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship as well as willing to complete a Federal Police Check **
