About the role:
The role of Marketing Manager would be suitable for someone who considers themselves a Marketing Generalist – that is, someone who enjoys variety and has experience in both inbound and outbound marketing strategies. The role will see you increasing Gateway's market share through ownership of the planning and execution marketing activities driving acquisition, retention and engagement.
Growing our brand metrics across target segments
End-to-end management of campaigns and measurement
Working with our digital agency to optimise our website and digital marketing activity
Development of marketing and communication plans to meet business objectives
Development and optimisation of customer lifecycle management
Supporting both consumer and B2B marketing activities
Member communications to support customer onboarding, activation and retention
Management of two Marketing Executives
About you:
To be successful in this role, we want to see:
Track record in growing brands
Proven track record in profitable acquisition
Experience managing marketing campaigns end to end
Ability to understand customer needs and support the business in meeting them
Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM
Experience in measurement and optimisation of marketing activities
Experience in targeting customer segments
Experience in presenting to Executive team and Board
Graphic design experience would be useful, but not essential




Demonstrated ability to influence change & achieve positive outcomes
Ability to build strategic working relationships to achieve common goals
Relentless customer focus but with ability to balance and be responsive to business needs
Ability to think out of the box to solve problems

You would be working in our newly refurbished and stylish office in the Sydney CBD, which is located close to transport and the QVB shopping district, with the option of working from home two – three days per week.
