The role is independent setout. You take pre-prepared office information to site, put it on the ground accurately, and close the job out. Your day is surveying - admin, client chasing and heavy drafting stay in the office. Clients are kept in the loop so they know you're coming. You're trusted to get the work done without time constraints on when you arrive or leave a job.
Key responsibilities
Check jobs in and out through Synergy
Set out points, lines, levels and control from office-prepared data, working on your own
Use standard survey instrumentation
Use 12d Field for collection and setout
Keep field notes and site photos so the office can finish plans
About you
Working rights in Australia and a current driver's licence
At least 3 years' construction / cadastral setout experience in ACT or NSW
Surveying qualification (degree or TAFE)
Confident setout skills - office data onto the ground without someone standing over you
Experience with 12d Field
Comfortable with Synergy or similar job check-in
Organised and happy working unsupervised
