Service Advisor / Shop Administrator
to join our close-knit team.
The Role
As the face of our front office, you will bridge the gap between our workshop floor and our valued customers. This is a dynamic role combining customer service, service advising, and general workshop administration.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Customer Service:
Welcoming clients, booking in vehicles, and providing empathetic, clear updates throughout the repair process.
Service Advising:
Translating technical feedback from our mechanics into clear, easy-to-understand explanations and estimates for customers.
Parts & Workflow:
Ordering parts from suppliers promptly and assisting the team to manage the daily workflow.
Administration:
Processing invoices, handling payments, answering phone enquiries, and maintaining accurate service records.
Skills and Experience
Prior experience as an automotive service advisor is highly regarded, but we will train the right person.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to handle a busy workshop environment.
Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn workshop management software.
A positive, team-oriented attitude.
