The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical/Diesel Fitter to join our dynamic team in Mackay. In this permanent full-time role, you will be responsible for the safe disassembly, rebuild and repair of Caterpillar and Komatsu components and associated products.
Duties & Responsibilities
The disassembly and rebuild of front and rear wheel groups.




Component measure and inspection for its reusability and/or repair.
Manual handling.
Appropriate housekeeping duties to ensure the work area is always clean and secure.
About You
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
Mechanical Trade Certificate.
Experience in the repair of Caterpillar and Komatsu components (preferred, but not essential)
High Risk Work Licence – Forklift.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Previous experience in Heavy Engineering / Mining Industry.
