Estimating Manager - Northern Gold Coast
Our client is a highly successful large scale builder/developer, established over 20 years ago. With a portfolio aimed at all levels from first home owners, investors, and medium density developments, they offer a stable, dynamic, empowering and financially rewarding working environment to incumbent staff. Responsible for producing in excess of 400 homes annually over multiple states in Australia, our client continues to grow from strength to strength.
We are now recruiting for an experienced Estimating Manager to be based out of their Northern Gold Coast offices. Our preferred candidate will have 4-5+ years experience in a Estimating Manager or Team Leader capacity, with project home builders.
You will be an integral part of the team, having excellent time management & communication skills, ability to work with all levels of internal & external stakeholders, and overall calm and mature leader for the team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the estimating functions and activities related to the working of the Estimating Department
Manage & mentor team of Sales & Production estimators
Oversee and ensure workflow,



set timeframes, KPI's adherence
Procurement, Database Management, system development & manage BOQ's
Monthly reporting, cost control, quality control, price/supply variations and availability
Liaise, negotiate, source and maintain relations with suppliers & contractors
About You
Proven experience in procurement and Sales & Production estimating in volume residential construction.
Solid leadership skills with a collaborative, people-first approach.
High proficiency in DataBuild, On-Site Companion (desired) and MS packages
Exceptional time management and the ability to thrive under pressure.
