Director, Office of the Deputy Director-General
Queensland's hospital system is facing greater demand and pressure than ever before. This is driven by our growing and ageing population, and compounded by pressures on primary, aged and disability care. To help address this, Health Infrastructure Queensland (HIQ), in partnership with Hospital and Health Services (HHS), is leading the biggest hospital expansion program Queensland has ever seen.
Over the next five years, HIQ will support the delivery of three new hospitals, 11 hospital expansions, and upgrades to rural and regional health facilities, adding thousands of hospital beds throughout the State. Working in HIQ, you will forge a new sustainable delivery model and contribute to the delivery of projects that ultimately improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders - what could be more rewarding than that?
