Surveyor
to join our Newcastle team.
The Role
As a Surveyor at Monteath & Powys, you will be involved in a wide range of projects including land development, infrastructure, construction, and spatial data capture. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment that values technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field surveys using GNSS and Total Stations
Prepare and manage survey data, plans, and reports
Liaise with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure project requirements are met
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards,
and safety protocols
Mentor staff where appropriate and contribute to team development
Ability to work unsupervised at a range of interesting projects
About You
Degree or diploma in Surveying or Spatial Science
Demonstrated experience in multiple fields, Construction, Rail, Topo, Control
Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., 12d, AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center)
Robust communication and problem-solving skills
Current driver's licence and White Card
