At Stratton, you're the first one on scene when the alarm goes off at 2am. You'll be in a modern, fully kitted patrol SUV, with a team behind you on the radio and the training to handle what you find. We pay full award night rates with penalties and overtime built in, so a full-time officer earns around $89,000 plus super. You'll know your roster, your pay and your next step up before you start.

About the role
Stratton Security runs mobile patrol and alarm response across the Sydney metro area from our Marrickville depot. We're hiring two Mobile Patrol Officers for our night roster.
We are a hands-on patrol company. Our officers don't just observe and report. Where it is safe and lawful, they step in. If that's not for you, this role isn't either.
Position 1: Full-Time, 2-2-3 Roster
12-hour night shifts, [6:00pm – 6:00am]
7 shifts per fortnight on a 2-2-3 rotation: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, then 2 off, 2 on, 3 off
Every second weekend off, plus regular mid-week days off
Overtime is built into the roster and paid at award overtime rates
Approx. $94,700 per year, with Saturday, Sunday and overtime penalties included
Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights,

36 hours per week, with Monday to Thursday free
Approx. $87,500 per year, with Saturday and Sunday penalties included
For both positions
Paid under the Security Services Industry Award, Level 2, permanent night rates
Public holidays are paid on top at award rates
Superannuation is paid on top
What you'll actually do
Patrol multiple client sites across Sydney each shift in a marked Stratton SUV
Respond to alarms, break-ins and suspicious activity, often as the first on scene
Secure sites, check perimeters, and intervene where it is safe and lawful to do so
Work with police and client contacts when incidents escalated
Write clear, accurate incident reports on our electronic reporting system
You must have
A current NSW Class 1A Security Licence
A full NSW driver licence with a clean driving record
A current first aid certificate
Availability for the full roster of the position you apply for
The judgement to know when to step in and when to hold back and call it in
Good written and verbal communication skills
A genuine appreciation of standards and professionalism: presentation, conduct and reporting that reflect on the company and our clients
Good to have
Previous mobile patrol or alarm response experience
Knowledge of Sydney metro roads
