Operations Finance Manager | Huntingwood
Help Power Some of Australia's Most Loved Brands
Every day, millions of Australians reach for products from some of the country's most iconic brands, including Tim Tam, Shapes, Jatz, Tiny Teddy, Scotch Finger and Vita-Weat.
Behind those brands sits a world-class manufacturing operation and we're looking for an exceptional finance leader to help drive its future success.
We're seeking an Operations Finance Manager to join our Huntingwood site and become a key member of the Site Leadership Team. Partnering directly with the Plant Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping financial performance, influencing operational strategy and driving commercial outcomes across a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment.
This is a career-defining opportunity for a finance professional who wants genuine influence, robust operational exposure and the opportunity to work at the heart of a business that manufactures some of Australia's favourite products.
Why This Role Is Different
This isn't a finance role where you'll sit in head office reviewing reports.
You'll be embedded within the operation, working side-by-side with leaders across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Quality and People & Culture.
You'll have a genuine seat at the leadership table, helping drive decisions around productivity, investment, cost optimisation, operational performance and future growth.
Your insights won't just explain what happened. They'll help determine what happens next.
Why Huntingwood?
Huntingwood is one of our most significant manufacturing operations and plays an important role in producing products enjoyed by consumers across Australia and beyond.
The site is rapid-paced, highly automated and continually evolving,

creating an environment where strong commercial leadership can make a real impact.
Success in this role comes from being close to the operation, understanding what is happening on the factory floor and building strong relationships with stakeholders across the site.
As a result, this position is expected to be onsite 4-5 days per week.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being visible, partnering directly with operational leaders, walking the floor and influencing decisions in real time. The onsite presence is a critical part of understanding the operation, building credibility and driving better
business outcomes.
About You
You're commercially minded, naturally curious and know how to turn financial data into meaningful business decisions.
You enjoy partnering with leaders, challenging thinking, identifying opportunities and helping businesses improve performance.
You'll bring:
Significant experience within FMCG, manufacturing or another complex operational environment
Strong Finance Business Partnering experience with senior operational stakeholders
Product costing and manufacturing finance experience
Exceptional commercial acumen
A proactive and highly collaborative approach
Experience leading and developing teams
Advanced analytical and financial modelling capability

CA or CPA qualification
What Your Days Look Like
Partnering closely with the Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team

Leading financial planning, forecasting and budgeting activities
Delivering commercial insights that improve operational performance
Driving reporting, analysis and financial decision-making
Supporting capital investment and continuous improvement initiatives
Managing product costing activities across the site
Identifying opportunities to improve productivity and profitability
Leading and developing the site finance team
Ensuring strong governance, controls and financial discipline
The Ingredients For Success
Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
CA or CPA qualified
Proven experience within FMCG or manufacturing environments
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
Experience partnering with operational leaders
Demonstrated leadership experience
Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
Work across some of Australia's most recognised brands
Join a highly visible leadership position
Partner directly with senior Supply Chain and Finance leaders
Influence major operational and investment decisions

Be part of an organisation with a proud heritage and exciting future
Our Culture

We're proud of our iconic brands, passionate about our people and committed to building a high-performing culture where individuals can make a genuine impact.
If you're looking for a finance leadership opportunity where you can influence strategy, drive operational performance and play a key role in the future success of some of Australia's most loved brands, we'd love to hear from you.
