ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
As
Store Manager at Shoe Warehouse Eastern Creek Quarter (ECQ)
, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the store, leading your team to deliver strong sales results, exceptional customer experiences and outstanding operational standards.
This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to an experienced retail manager who thrives in a fast‐paced outlet environment. You'll be responsible for driving commercial performance, building a high‐performing team, maintaining robust visual and brand standards, and ensuring every customer leaves with a great experience.
You'll lead from the front, bring energy to the team and create a store environment where people love to shop and love to work.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead, coach and inspire your team to achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs and store budgets
Drive a strong sales culture through active floor leadership, customer engagement and commercial decision-making
Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable shopping experiences
Lead by example, remaining hands‐on and visible on the shop floor
Recruit, onboard, train and develop team members to build capability and support future succession




Plan and manage rosters effectively to maximise sales opportunities and team productivity
Take ownership of stock management, inventory accuracy, replenishment and loss prevention
Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation and brand execution
Analyse store performance and use sales and KPI insights to identify opportunities and drive results
Ensure all operational, safety and company procedures are consistently followed
Build a positive, inclusive and high‐energy team culture
ABOUT YOU
You're a passionate and commercially minded retail leader who knows how to bring out the best in people and deliver results.
You'll ideally have:
Proven experience as a
Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or experienced retail leader
A strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
Experience leading, coaching and developing a retail team
A genuine passion for customer service and creating great shopping experiences
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to turn store insights into action
Excellent communication, organisation and problem‐solving skills
A hands‐on leadership style and the energy to thrive in a busy outlet environment
A passion for footwear, fashion and helping customers find their perfect fit
Most importantly, you'll be someone who
