Mypower Foundations is seeking an experienced Disability Support Professional for participant‐specific support across the Mid Blue Mountains, Penrith and surrounding areas, with some supports extending towards Blacktown.
Due to the participants' individual support needs, personal circumstances and preferences, female applicants are sought for these particular support arrangements.
For this role, experience matters but so does the person behind it. We're looking for someone who is mature, calm, reliable and confident, with strong life experience and the ability to build genuine rapport naturally. Someone who enjoys conversation, understands qualified boundaries and knows when to provide support and when to step back and encourage independence.
The role may include social and community participation,



daily living support, personal care where required, mobility, communication and sensory support, and working alongside participants towards their individual goals.
Applicants will require an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, current First Aid and CPR, current driver licence, and a reliable and appropriately insured vehicle.
Disability support experience is highly regarded. Relevant qualifications are desirable; however, suitable work and life experience is also recognised.
