Speech Pathologist - Mobile Transdisciplinary Allied Health Service
We are a mobile transdisciplinary Allied Health Service that provides high-quality Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Psychology services to children, adolescents and adults, both with and without a diagnosis, through government and private funding. About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to:
Work with individuals, their families and their key stakeholders to develop individualised plans and services to clients of all ages and abilities
Develop holistic therapy plans within a multidisciplinary team and provide direct community, school-based and home-based intervention and support programs.
Work 1:1 and in group contexts with children, teenagers and adults
Work with individuals across the lifespan both with and without a diagnosis
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need:
Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology)
Desire to work in a client and family-centred practice
A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential and to achieve valued and meaningful goals through fun,
functional and individualised therapy
High level organisational and time management skills
The ability to work in an energetic and versatile environment
Proven ability to work in and contribute to a team
A continuous quality improvement mindset
A high level of written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution.
Practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia or eligible to attain
Working With Children Check
National Police Check
Drivers Licence
