A small stainless steel fabrication business in Blacktown is currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Draftsperson to join their facility.
Position Overview:
Our client is a dedicated stainless steel fabrication business specializing in commercial kitchen fit-outs and custom sheet metal products. They are looking for a self-motivated individual with specific industry experience to join their team.
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
CAD drawing of commercial kitchen benches, range hoods, and other custom sheet metal items
Creating flat layout drawings and nesting for laser cutting machines
Undertaking minor administrative and estimating tasks (training provided for this aspect)
Working efficiently and unsupervised once fully trained

skill set and qualifications will include:
Proven experience in the Sheet Metal industry is ESSENTIAL (Please do not apply from other industries)
Experience with CAD drawing for sheet metal fabrication
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
High attention to detail
