Role & Responsibilities
Gather, analyse, and document information and financial records to support structured regulatory investigations and compliance assessments.
Utilise data and intelligence tools to proactively identify high-risk behaviours, entities, and non-compliance schemes.
Review documentation and financial records to uncover gaps, providing well-reasoned advice to support executive decision-making.
Prepare explicit, accurate, and high-quality briefing materials, investigation reports, and formal correspondence.
Engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external scheme participants while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:
Technical Toolkit: Familiarity with compliance methodologies, data and intelligence analysis tools, financial auditing processes, and regulatory frameworks. A Certificate IV in Government Investigations (PSP*****) is highly desirable (or a willingness to obtain one with departmental support).
Experience: Proven background supporting structured or compliance-based work, such as financial audits, quality assurance, regulatory reviews, or investigations.
Core Capabilities: Exceptional analytical skills, strong workload prioritisation, adaptability to evolving legislation, and excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
Eligibility & Clearance Requirements
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current Baseline security clearance or, at minimum, be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain one.
